探戈,起源于古巴的哈巴涅拉(Habanera)舞，作为阿根廷音乐的代表广为流传。其特点为2/4拍的摇曳节奏。通常由两个段落构成，第一段为小调式，第二段为大调式。探戈也有用吉他伴奏的歌唱形式。一般探戈的演奏乐队由小提琴、手风琴、钢琴、低音提琴等乐器组成，而按钮式手风琴是探戈乐队中不可缺少的一种乐器。
