David Arthur Brown 出生于1967年的洛杉矶，后来逐渐痴迷于旅行与诗歌。他曾经在亚洲、南美及欧洲旅行多年，在丰富的旅行生活中，他学会了吹奏萨克斯。在1997年到2000年之间，David 与好友 Beck 一同吹奏萨克斯，在那段时间里，他逐渐学会了弹奏吉他，由此便开始了自己的唱作生涯。《Teenage Summer Days》是Brazzaville 主唱 David Arthur Brown 的个人专辑，其中《Fallujah》和《Barcelona》最为迷人，轻柔的曲调，温柔的清唱，总让人想起一段没有终点的旅途。
